He Beget's origin dates back to the Middle Ages as you can guess from its architecture. Specifically, the first knowledge of its existence dates back to 1168, although it could have been built much earlier, of course.

Since 1969 it has been part of the municipality of Camprodón, in the Ripollés region, but before that it was independent (over time, its life was reduced to a place of second residence or of visiting). In addition, it is part of the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
