A crescent moon rises directly above the fortified gate tower, crowned by the flags of Girona, Catalonia and Spain, while a row of lanterns lights the medieval bridge's path toward the walled town. The Fluvià River, glimpsed between the arches, adds a second layer of depth to the composition. A striking vertical format, its deep nocturnal blues command attention in living rooms and double-height spaces.
