Two great masses of stone rise in a cobbled courtyard like sentinels left behind by time, facing a three-story façade dotted with dark balconies. A lantern and a single lit window are the only proof that someone dwells behind those walls. Everything else — the empty bench, the precisely trimmed hedges, the bare stone — belongs entirely to the stillness of the night.
