La Casa de la Julianeta, Albarracín

La Casa de la Julianeta is, on its own, a geometric challenge: its upper floor juts out over the street until it almost touches the building opposite, an architectural anomaly the village has learned to live with rather than question. At night that irregularity is heightened —the volumetric light that illuminates the overhang reveals every beam, every imperfection of centuries, and turns the structure into the undisputed protagonist of the frame—. It is, architecturally, the most singular piece in the entire Albarracín collection.
