The clean lines of the MACBA cut against a clear blue sky, while the square in front of the museum fills with life — skaters, passers-by, the everyday rhythm of the contemporary city colliding with Richard Meier's rationalist architecture.
It's the only daytime piece in this series so far, and I include it precisely for that contrast: against the centuries-old stone of my medieval villages, the white geometry and bustle of the square stand for the other face of Spain I want to document.
