The same colonnade, but this time wrapped in a cold white light that hardens every flute of the shaft and lends the temple an almost lunar quality. Fully fallen night removes any reference to the horizon, letting the columns appear to float against the darkness.
This tighter, more intimate vertical framing — distinct from the rest of the series devoted to the temple — is designed to heighten the verticality and sculptural strength of the Corinthian order, almost as though it were a portrait rather than an architectural photograph.
Fragmentos de Ciudad y Paisaje Series. Purist long-exposure night photography, captured exclusively with ambient light and moonlight, with no artificial lighting added and no digital sky replacement. Museum-quality Giclée print on 100% cotton Hahnemühle Museum Etching paper, 350 gsm, produced by GraficArtPrints. Each work is delivered with its Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity. Limited edition of five.
