Path of Gold: Mataró

The dawn sun, reduced to a perfect disc on the horizon off Mataró, lays a path of golden light across the sea. Above, the sky moves from deep orange to blue-green with an almost graphic cleanness, barely interrupted by a thin trail of cloud.

It is one of the simplest compositions in the series, and for that reason one of the most demanding: horizon, disc, water. Everything else is superfluous. An image for those who want a space that breathes, with no more noise than the shimmer of light on the waves.
