A second view of the Pujada de Sant Domènec, taken from a different point along the street, shifting the relationship between the flanking walls and the flight of steps. This short passage brings together one of Girona's most valuable historic and artistic ensembles — the Renaissance Palace of Calemany, the Palau dels Agullana with its characteristic covered arch spanning façade to façade, and the church of Sant Martí Sacosta, presiding over the passage from above — and has served as the backdrop for an acclaimed European feature film set in 18th-century Provence. Together with the first image of this same street, it forms a diptych documenting two ways of climbing — and of looking at — the same medieval passage.
