The Romanesque bell tower of Sant Cristòfol rises above the rooftops of Beget like a stone sentinel lit from within: every arch releases the warm glow of the bulbs hanging beside the bells, while the night sky remains untouched — no forced stars, no substituted backdrop. Two wrought-iron lanterns guard the entrance to the churchyard, marking the boundary between the sleeping village and the tower that never stops keeping watch. The vertical composition seeks that dialogue between the earthbound — the hedge, the weathered stone, the rain-slicked cobbles — and what rises into the dark.
