This piece deliberately sits in the threshold between dusk and full night —natural light has not entirely vanished, nor does artificial lighting yet dominate the scene—. That in-between instant, difficult to capture because it lasts only a few minutes, gives the image a textural clarity distinct from the rest of the series: both the details of the centuries-old stone arch and the last light of the sky are visible.
