Potted plants spill into a covered passage in Pals, softening centuries-old stone beneath a timber footbridge overhead. Warm lantern light filters through the greenery, turning a simple thoroughfare into something closer to a private courtyard, caught here in complete stillness.
Photographed using only the residual glow of the village's own street lamps, with no added light, no flash, and no digital sky replacement. Every image in this series is a faithful record of Pals after dark.
