The Geranium Passage

A cobbled street descends between the walls of Pals: to the right, the stone holds pots of red geraniums beneath a lit window; to the left, a lone cypress and an iron lantern mark the way toward the houses beyond, while the moon barely shows through the clouds above the rooftops.

Photographed using only the residual glow of the village's own street lamps, with no added light, no flash, and no digital sky replacement. Every image in this series is a faithful record of Pals after dark.
