A vaulted stone corridor leads the eye toward a distant door, lit only by a lantern glowing at the far end. Above, three arched windows watch in silence — remnants of a building whose history predates memory. The passage feels less like a street than a held breath.
Photographed using only the residual glow of the village's own street lamps, with no added light, no flash, and no digital sky replacement. Every image in this series is a faithful record of Pals after dark.
