A hooded figure crosses a zebra crossing in Mataró while beside it a fountain of sparks rises from the asphalt and fills the night with points of light. The silhouette, completely dark, contrasts with the golden burst that occupies the rest of the frame.
Unlike the crowds in other Correfocs pieces of the series, here there is one person and a moment of calm inside the noise. It is one of the most intimate images of the festival: someone walking among sparks the way one walks in the rain, unhurried and unafraid.
